Great food, great wines and a great atmosphere

The atmosphere was pretty cool! In a very old building with artifacts from the 1600's. The food was pretty tasty and very nice service. I will return. :)

Nice cool courtyard, good food, nice service, but clearly too expensive. Unfortunately, the wealthy Rhein Main Schickeria have been chosen as customers in the Rheingau over the past 10 years. And when a man, as a normal wage earner, has € 30 + tip on the clock for an admittedly delicious burger with fries and 2 drinks, you simply have a stale feeling that it was not worth it.

We ate very well prepared steaks in the rustic economy. The service was friendly and competent at all times. The fried potatoes and the lemon / lime butter were particularly tasty. The dessert was a lemon gin sorbet, a recommendation for all gin friends. We enjoyed the evening there.

We were in Ö-W about 1.5 weeks ago. We were spontaneously looking for a restaurant in the evening, but most of the local restaurants were already overcrowded and I thought we couldn't get more space anywhere. That was not how I had imagined my birthday evening. But then we called the "economy" and we were told that they still have space and are looking forward to us :-). You don't hear that very often these days. We came to a cozy and idyllic courtyard, received a friendly welcome and had free choice of seats. We decided to go outside because the weather was still pleasant. Please don't be put off by the somewhat rustic furniture inside. The food was excellent, very tasty and everything cooked to the point! If we are in Östrich-Winkel again, we will be happy to come back. Keep it up! Best wishes. IP

Delicious food in a beautiful courtyard. We had a very good dinner here. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was very tasty and the price performance great. Really a nice restaurant. The fillet is particularly recommended!

Highly recommended, regional cuisine with the skill of the chef and friendly, cheeky service. Even if it might cost one euro more, it is more than worth it.

addendum: Maybe on the homepage and / or Facebook pictures of the team and their position would be attached so you know who you are dealing with. We are excited ! It was very crowded where we were there and there was only one waitress. Despite that everything went smoothly and without reservation we got another table. The food went fast and was delicious. Impressive was, among other things, the young waitress who had everything in view and under control and was very friendly despite the amount of people.

Without reservation, everything full and still without reservation still get a place. Unfortunately only ordered small dishes but these were perfect and the young waitress is super attentive and knows exactly what she is doing. Nice place !

Good German and international cuisine ..... vegetarian modern cuisine also represented and deliciously implemented. Wines from the region and whoever wants, will also find well-traveled wines on the menu. "The economy" is definitely worth a visit! In summer you can sit well in the shady courtyard covered with vine branches. Rustic atmosphere.

Great vibe and service! Decent options in vegetarian food. Good portion size for drinks and food.

Hammer Burger

Had a really great lunch here (beef filet with potatoes). Nice outdoor patio area and setting. No English menu and waitress barely spoke English, so a bit difficult to communicate, but food was excellent!
